Structural Epistemic (In)justice in Global Contexts, by Inkeri Koskinen and Kristina Rolin
In this online seminar series, we explore how feminist perspectives can inform our understanding of climate change, focusing on themes such as values, trust, uncertainty, injustice, diversity, and emotions.
In this third session, we are delighted to welcome Inkeri Koskinen (University of Helsinki) and Kristina Rolin (Tampere University) as our guests. We will discuss the paper Structural Epistemic (In)justice in Global Contexts (2021), in which they explore structural epistemic injustices on a global scale, particularly within scientific institutions, highlighting how epistemic marginalization and epistemicide occur beyond local contexts.
